A scene depicting goddess Ishtar treading on a lion, a symbol of power and handing the scepter to King Lim surrounded by priests is located at the center of the painting.
In addition, there is the Lion of Babylon, a 2,600-year-old sculpture, and the remains of the Ishtar Gate, the most beautiful of the eight gates that once ringed the perimeter of the town.
The report said key structural damage was inflicted on the Ishtar Gate and the Processional Way and other areas.
