She volunteered to be among the first "bloggers" for the JCPH website and shared her PHN experiences with the public.
In 2001 she returned to JCPH as a public health nurse supervisor and for the next nine years supervised an array of maternal child health programs.
She hired a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist with a background in consultation liaison psychiatry who developed collaborative relationships with JCPH staff and community agencies.
Cynthia also served as a clinical instructor and clinical placement coordinator for University of Colorado School of Nursing and as a Clinical Scholar while at JCPH.
Christine is recognized in Colorado's public health nurse community for her work on adapting the QUAD Council PHN Competencies for PHNs working in Communicable Disease, Maternal-Child Health, and Reproductive Health Clinics at JCPH.
