According to another poll in the heavily populated prefecture of Osaka, the profile of JCP voters was as follows: 55 percent had supported the JCP in the 1993 general elections, 17 percent were nonparty partisans, 10 percent were ex-JSP supporters and 8 percent came from the JNP.
