Janssen said in a July 18 letter to county supervisors that the findings of the joint review ``confirm many of the contractors' allegations'' of the agency not executing contracts in a timely fashion and of being significantly tardy in paying invoices. Addressing the European concerns meant American concessions, including setting a three-and-a-half year time limit on long the data will be stored, limiting how many data elements will be collected and agreeing to a joint review of the process every year, according to statements from European negotiators. American officials said representatives of the two agencies were travelling to Saudi Arabia this week to organise the offices of the investigative team and to continue a joint review of financial evidence unearthed by Saudi banking officials. |
