In 2013, Al Habtoor set up KAHF
to promote East-West dialogue, and help people worldwide improve their living standards, as well as to promote peace.
KAHF support focused on water-related, agricultural and infrastructure-rehabilitation projects designed to help farmers address protection threats, including land confiscation and settler violence, and on increasing farmers resilience to forced displacement.
He added that KAHF funds have helped us repair essential agricultural infrastructure and water pipelines, which will prevent the loss of water and increase our agricultural production.
