Akzo Nobel, Arnhem, The Netherlands, has signed an agreement to acquire Ceilcote, an international coatings company that produces polymer-based corrosion control coatings for concrete and steel applications particularly in the petrochemical and power industries, for EUR 12 million from the Germany-based KCH Group.
Akzo Nobel has strengthened its position in the global protective coatings market after signing an agreement to acquire the worldwide Ceilcote business from the German-based KCH Group for close to 12 million [euro].
With three larger hospitals within 28 miles, KCH has focused on customer service, fiscal accountability, operational efficiency, physician recruitment and acquiring state-of-the-art equipment and services to be able to compete.
