The sites involved in the study are the Human Engineering Research Laboratories (HERL) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (coordinating site), the Kessler Medical Rehabilitation Research and Education Corporation (KMRREC) in Orange, New Jersey, and the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle, Washington.
Scientists from The Kessler Medical Rehabilitation Research and Education Corporation and The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago set out to design a wearable glove to measure range of motion, flexion and strength, so patients' rehabilitation can be better planned and evaluated.
