Mainstream Palestinian Fatah faction has renewed warnings of secret plans by its rival Hamas, targeting President Mahmoud Abbas, allegedly coinciding with similar plans by Israel to kill the president, the pan-Arab daily ASHARQ AL AWSAT reported on Thursday.
It refers to them plotting to kill the president because the mafia wanted to "get rid of" his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy.
But Muan'a was forced to flee in November 2002 when the government took exception to his commitment to free speech and accused him of plotting to kill the president.
