Born in Harlesden, London, United Kingdom, Jay Sean attended a private boy's school, The Latymer Upper School in Hammersmith, and won himself a place at Barts and The London, Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry to train as a doctor.
Peter Winter, head of the pounds 12,465 a year Latymer Upper school in nearby Hammersmith, said: "They were not actually taking the drugs.
A practice session on the lake last Thursday was followed by a superb race on Friday which brought them a semi-final spot, and they finished second to Latymer Upper School in their heat on Saturday to grab a place in the final.
