Lebanese-American Magda Abu-Fadil, director of the Institute for Professional Journalists (IPJ) at the Lebanese American University, described the Israeli massacres in Qana, where Christ performed his first miracle. They had known "that the Saddam Hussein regime will eventually end one day, he will die," says Amal Saad-Ghorayeb, a professor of social sciences at the Lebanese American University in Beirut. Of the institutions involved, three were in Beirut: the American University of Beirut (AUB); the Lebanese American University (LAU) Beirut campus; and Hagazian University. |
