The X-ray laser in question is the Linac Coherent Light Source, located at the Department of Energy's SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. She has shepherded the construction of the Linac Coherent Light Source at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and the National Synchrotron Light Source II at Brookhaven National Laboratory. SLAC, located in Stanford, CA (USA), ordered two state-of-the-art Kirkpatrick-Baez mirror systems to be integrated into its Coherent X-Ray Imaging instrument (CXI) at the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS). |
