At a meeting last week at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, astrophysicists cited several projects that they'd like to see installed on the moon's surface or in lunar orbit. As part of a space expo dubbed the X Prize Cup, teams will demonstrate concepts for space vehicles that could ferry humans or cargo back and forth between the lunar surface and lunar orbit.
