In order to create a standardized image database of MDCT lung images as a resource for CAD researchers, the National Cancer Institute has formed the Lung Image Database Consortium (LIDC).
There is the possibility for collaboration with NCI-funded centers such as the NCI Network for Translational Research in Optical Imaging or the Lung Image Database Consortium.
