Application for the MBNQA requires a 50-page document that responds to its Criteria for Performance Excellence, which cover seven major elements of the organization: (1) leadership; (2) strategic planning; (3) focus on patients, other customers, and markets; (4) measurement analysis and knowledge management; (5) workforce focus; (6) process management; and (7) results.
most of which are based on the Baldrige Criteria, MBNQA has been able to extend the deployment of the criteria to a much wider base of organizations (Bobrowski & Bantham, 1994).
Upon request, International Educational Enterprises will work with the MBNQA to provide a more relevant set of Criteria for Performance Excellence for smaller firms to fit the "modus operandi" of small firms where quality and innovation in process technology be the norm for this is the principal source of competitive advantage in many Italian industries and many smaller firms in the United States.
