The State Owned Entities Communicators Association (SOECA) and the State Owned Enterprises Procurement Forum (SOEPF) have both pledged their support for community and small commercial media as defined by the MDDA
Act, the two bodies agreed at a meeting held recently in Pretoria.
The Agency applauds the leadership of SOECA and SOEPF on giving meaning and effect to both MDDA Act and the call by the Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Communications for a minimum of 30% government advertising to be allocated to community and small commercial media.
The Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA) would like congratulate and welcome the important announcement made today by the State Owned Entities Communicators Association (SOECA) and the State Owned Enterprises Procurement Forum (SOEPF) to both pledged their support for community and small commercial media as defined by the MDDA Act.
Through MDDA, Land O'Lakes and leading Malawian dairy farmers developed radio programs that delivered educational messages on topics such as animal husbandry and marketing.
7 million MDDA program helped reduce poverty and hunger for some 14,000 individuals, by enabling farmers to form into MBGs such as Lumbadzi, where they could access credit, inputs and markets.
The progressive MDDA invention removes all dangerous incidentals such as: A single anesthesiologist's efforts to coordinate multiple medications in quick succession (during “code blue” for instance); the problems in adding medicines during continuous IV infusion; and, mostly importantly, human error.
Often new medical technology will require a facilitator's ability to speed up the process to obtain approvals within both foreign governments and in the USA in order to reach target clients, who will be anxious to the MDDA system to help their patients.
