When the first graduates of the MGSE M Teach (primary and secondary) were asked the same question in a survey as part of an external evaluation conducted by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) late in 2010, 90% claimed that they were 'well' or 'very well' prepared when they began teaching.
This represents a significant advance, both on what the MGSE was achieving before the M Teach, and in comparison with courses from other universities.
Indicative of the growing need and demand, staff from MGSE are also working extensively with schools, educational systems and leadership institutes across Australia (and overseas) to provide professional development on evidence-based clinical approaches to teaching and learning and to inform and equip educational leaders to lead and support these developments.
Here are the features that MGSE
enables in Gnome 3 to make it closer to Gnome 2:

In the sections below, we describe the pathways we have identified within the MGSE and a way we have discovered to bring these pathways together.
MGSE accepts a maximum of 30 teacher candidates into this secondary music stream with entry determined by compliance of their undergraduate degree with designated requirements plus an audition and interview.
It has taken a number of years to make this option available for the secondary music cohort at MGSE, a number of whom were taking up primary positions at the end of their course, and it should be remembered, again, that not all of these secondary students choose this elective.
