MiCSES connects child support information between Michigan's Family Independence Agency and county Friend of the Court and Prosecutors' Offices.
The MiCSES project team, along with Michigan's Office of Child Support and Department of Information Technology, were officially recognized at the Governor's Cabinet on October 14, 2003.
Corrigan, also recognized PSI for its accomplishments on the MiCSES project at a special celebration on October 8, 2003.
Under PSI's leadership, the MiCSES team produced a federally certifiable child support system, which was designed, developed, tested, and rolled out in all 83 Michigan counties, in less than 30 months.
Unlike automated child support systems used in other states, MiCSES uses a full suite of advanced technology, including a standard Graphical User Interface, Web-based system architecture, and an Oracle relational database.
