] ACS reagent-grade acetic acid (AA), ReagentPlus 99% trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol 99+% (HFIP), PG chitin from crab shells [degree of deacetyla-tion (DD): 9%], PG chitosan from crab shells [molecular weight (MW): ~190,000-375,000 and DD: 83%], and MMW chitosan (MW: ~190,000-310,000 and DD: 75%) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St Louis, MO).
Using the 71 GHz to 76 GHz and 81 GHz to 86 GHz radio frequency bands, MMW standards were established by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) in 1979, but there was little commercial development until the late 1990s.
Rather than write, record and then tour, MMW has decided to write, tour and then, after playing the songs live during a leg of a tour, record while the new material is still exciting to the band.
