MADISON, Wisconsin -- Homilies on the weekend before the November 7 election got bumped for a message from the bishop. The International Forgiveness Institute in Madison, Wisconsin, suggests that, if you're holding a grudge, you should: acknowledge your pain, commit to forgiveness (recognizing that change is needed), find a new way to think about the person who wronged you, and begin to recognize the relief brought on by forgiveness. Pianist Michelle Naughton, age 17, from Madison, Wisconsin, was named the first-prize winner of the PianoArts 2006 Biennial National Piano Concerto and Solo Competition. |
