General Electric Transportation's marine gas turbine operation announced it will supply Ishikawajima-Farima Heavy Industries with four GE LM2500 aeroderivative gas turbines for use on the first of the new class of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's helicopter-carrying destroyer. Chromalloy also serves the industrial and marine gas turbine market and the military market. General Electric's marine gas turbine operations will supply South Korea's Samsung Techwin with twelve LM2500 aero-derived gas turbines for use in Korea's next-generation KDX Type III destroyer. |
