The dual power system works by sensing the amount of twist in the shaft connecting the pto output to the engine; once the extent of twist indicates that 30 hp is being absorbed, a microprocessor control unit signals the fuel pump to increase its delivery rate to raise the engine's power. You do that through a microprocessor control unit that measures the load and the energy going out. These include five 1152-pin Xilinx field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), an ARM9 microprocessor control unit (MCU), a high-speed digital signal processor (DSP), a clock controller and a number of other programmable logic devices (PLDs). |
