This chart includes all known ranges of EMR including: gamma rays, X-rays, ultraviolet light, visible light, infrared, microwaves, radio waves (ULF, VLF, LF, MF, HF, long, short, HAM, VHF, UHF, SHF, EHF), cosmic microwave background radiation and brain waves, all organized by octaves. As predicted by theory, the initial explosion left an afterglow of radiation throughout the sky, the microwave background radiation, which was detected in 1965. In the 1960s, using a Bell Labs radio antenna, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson detected the cosmic microwave background radiation, the strongest observational proof for the Big Bang scenario of the universe's creation. |
