Triarc, a New York-based holding company that owns the beverage brands Mistic, RC Cola and Diet Rite as well as fast-food and chemicals businesses, acquired Snapple from Quaker in May for $300 million.
The company won silver in the aerosol category the past two years, plus a gold award in 2003 for Cadbury Beverage America's Mistic RE aluminum bottle.
