Modi Rubber, Meerut, India, whose plant was shut down nearly five years ago, has signed an agreement with a Chinese tire company to help revive the company. Bloomberg and Brass Masters owner Gittu Modi broke ground last week for a new 33,000 s/f facility on a formerly City-owned site in East New York, Brooklyn within the proposed boundaries of one of the City's newly designated Industrial Business Zones. Later, the prime minister instructed Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi to take "urgent steps" to contain the violence in the state. |
