pneumophila serogroup 13 pneumonia has a clinically diverse spectrum that ranges from relatively mild, community-acquired pneumonia to potentially fatal severe pneumonia with multisystem organ failure.
One died of multisystem organ failure complicated by Aspergillus infection, and the cause of death in the other patient is still under investigation.
