Tokyo, Japan, July 21, 2006 - (JCN) - Nomura Research Institute (NRI) disclosed on July 20 its forecasts on the domestic nano technology market, covering consumer, automotive, industrial robot, medical equipment, electronics, energy and environment, material, and measurement hardware segments. An illustrated 80-page technical presentation describes nano technology using titanate and zirconate coupling agents to couple nano particulates, pigments and fibers, catalyze, regenerate and copolymerize, flame retard, intumesce and phosphatize, functionalize and make UV reactive, and provide superior process efficiency. Children in the early grades who have learned about atoms as building blocks can do activities aimed at realizing just how small nano really is, Crone says. |
