During NAOSH week ASSE, its members and partners will work to educate the public on what is being done and can be done to prevent these tragedies.
Supporting NAOSH week is an extension of those efforts.
As part of the NAOSH week celebration, on Tuesday, May 4, ASSE will be host to a breakfast/news conference from 7-9:00 a.
NAOSH provides an opportunity for employers to emphasize the importance of using seat belts, which have a dramatic effect on reducing the severity of injuries suffered in car crashes.
We urge everyone to join us in supporting NAOSH week as it focuses national attention on preventing work-related injuries and illnesses," ASSE President James "Skipper" Kendrick, CSP, said.
The theme of NAOSH
week is Prevention is the Cure/Prepare Young Workers for the Future.
