The NCDEU conference is co-sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Institutes of Health and the American Society for Clinical Psychopharmacology and brings together academic researchers from multiple disciplines involved in clinical trials, investigators with the pharmaceutical industry and representatives from government agencies, including the U. The study being presented at NCDEU suggests that it may be possible to identify patients who are at increased risk for adverse events during antidepressant treatment, and in particular which patients may experience worsening suicidal ideation. The Phase II clinical trial results presented at NCDEU demonstrate the safety and efficacy of milnacipran in treating patients with FMS. |
