NEOC recently organised an essay writing competition in connection with the Iqbal Day.
NEOC Chairman Qazi Mohammad Asghar thanked Pakistani Ambassador to Qatar HE Mohammad Asghar Afridi, Pakistan embassy officials and all the participating schools for their cooperation in organising the event.
He said the NEOC will hold a programme in March to mark Pakistan Day.
NEOC General Secretary Tahir Mehmood Chaudhary said the event was held to mark Iqbal Day and Quaid Day.
Rizvi, who is also chief coordinator of the NEOC, congratulated the award winners and praised the quality of speeches delivered by the students.
NEOC chairman Qazi Mohammad Asghar delivered a welcome address and said the forum had decided to host a low-profile function in connection with the I-Day celebrations due to the massive flooding in Pakistan that left millions of people homeless.
NEOC General Secretary Tahir Mehmood Chaudhary compeered the programme and read out a list of items required for the flood victims.
NEOC Joint Secretary Amin Motiwala introduced Jan, who is currently working as director-general of Sustainable Development of Walled City Lahore Project.
NEOC Vice Chairman Janan Bangash proposed a vote of thanks.
