The NESG is an independent, non-partisan, non-sectarian organisation.
The NESG was incorporated in 1996 as a private organisation with a mandate to promote and champion the reform of the Nigerian economy into an open, private sector-led, globally competitive economy.
Speaking earlier on that day, NESG Director-General Frank Nweke Jnr, represented by the MD of ValuCard, Kyari Bukar, thanked the NNPC for its continuous support for the activities of the organisation over the years.
At the same time, the NESG has become a politically powerful lobby which can no longer be ignored by the nation's politicians.
