115 crore will be released to NMDFC
by way of equity contribution of the Central Government.

125 crores will be released to the NMDFC by way of equity contribution of the Central Government during 2009-10.
As per the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of India and the NMDFC, 66,000 beneficiaries are to be covered during 2009-10.
AADHAR & KYC norms for selection of beneficiaries, self-attestation of certificates by applicants and Direct Transfer of Loan in the bank account of beneficiary are some of the steps taken by NMDFC to make implementation of its schemes more transparent and hassle free for the beneficiaries.
On the occasion, a toll-free number to provide information regarding programmes and schemes of NMDFC was launched by Shri Naqvi.
An MoU was also signed between Ministry of Minority Affairs and NMDFC for the year 2016-17.
NMDFC implements its schemes through 37 State Channelizing Agencies in 29 States/UTs, NMDFC will tie up with the Nodal Bank wherever required to enhance its outreach.
NMDFC was constituted on 30th September 1994 as a non-profit making company under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956.
