A spokesman for the National Policing Improvement Agency (NPIA) said: "The NPIA is managing the roll-out of handheld computers toall police forces, which are freeing up time for police officers to be more visible in the communities they serve. However, the NPIA states that not all of those were taken from people accused of or arrested for a crime. Bahrain recently approached the NPIA to train its force and we have started with this two-week course," said Mr Kenny. |
