While there is universal agreement that biofuels will continue to be a strong, growing part of the nation's transportation fuel mix, NPRA has opposed and continues to oppose the mandated use of biofuels and supports market penetration that is driven by marketplace economics. refining industry, clearly communicating NPRA policy positions and messages on the issues and agenda items of most importance to NPRA members to federal policy makers, the media and the public. NPRA President Bob Slaughter said: "While we have not yet had an opportunity analyze in detail the DHS proposal to issue chemical facility security regulations, it appears from our initial review that the Department has done an admirable job in fulfilling the intent of Congress to establish risk-based security performance standards for high-risk facilities. |
