Membership of NYTW or NYDW includes an intensive training and rehearsal period during the summer, plus the prospect of large-scale public performances in some of Wales' most well-known venues.
Pauline Crossley, expressive arts officer for the Welsh Joint Education Committee which manages NYDW, said: ``The project has provided a breathtaking opportunity for young dancers in Wales.
The young dancers from NYDW, who are all aged between sixteen and twenty-one, will be performing what choregrapher Wayne describes as ``a futuristic chess game.
