I finished NaNoWriMo easily, within 3 weeks I had a fully edited and ready to re-write (yes, I still do that) 70,000 words book.
One website that does encourage people to plough on with at least a first draft day by day is the NaNoWriMo group, which builds up to a month-long writing extravaganza with authors setting themselves a target of completing a 50,000 word draft within a month.
I do post free excerpts in my myspace blog from time to time and have been posting a lot lately from my teenage sorceress for my NANOWRIMO YA project.
