Each share of common stock of MPT converted into an equivalent dollar amount (to the nearest one tenth of one cent) of full shares of common stock of MNP, based on the net asset value per share of each Fund calculated at 4:00 p. The repurchase price for the shares will be the Fund's net asset value per share as determined at the close of regular trading on the Taiwan Stock Exchange on June 29, 2007 or, if the Taiwan Stock Exchange is not open on June 29, 2007, at the opening of the New York Stock Exchange on June 29, 2007. 36 per share in capital gains represents a quarterly distribution to shareholders of 2% of net asset value per share at quarter-end in accordance with the Fund's previously announced fixed distribution policy. |
