The fact that Wi-Fi uses parts of the radio spectrum that do not require government licenses means individuals and businesses can roll out wireless network access points quickly, cheaply and virtually anywhere.
ATLANTA -- Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ:INAP), a global provider of fast, reliable end-to-end Internet business solutions, today announced that it has launched a new content delivery network (CDN) origin point of presence (PoP) through its proprietary Private Network Access Points (P-NAP(r)) in El Segundo, CA, for increased scale, capacity and premium network performance.
Through Internap's premium IP service, which uses Private Network Access Points (P-NAPs) to speed Internet traffic from one location to another, QualityTech's customer traffic will avoid the congestion and bottlenecks of traditional single-carrier networks.
