In its interim report to the Federal Communications Commission, the Network Reliability Steering Committee (NRSC) found that excessive Internet usage was leading to significant slowdowns in parts of the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
WASHINGTON -- - Calendar year 2004 was a "great year for network reliability" as measured by outage frequencies reported to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) by wireline telecommunications providers, according to the Network Reliability Steering Committee (NRSC) Annual Report 2004, released today by ATIS.
He serves as the Chairman of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions and chaired the Network Reliability Steering Committee associated with Federal Communications Commission's Network Reliability Council.
