The OATF also creates a market for goods and services before, during and after the event.
As in previous years, the OATF has this year attracted new international exhibitors.
Visitors can look forward to new services and products at this year's OATF.
Also a first of its kind, a full scale agricultural show will be available at this year's OATF and according to Uutoni, Meatco will be providing farmers with mobile exhibitor scrolls to exhibit their livestock for free.
To provide a conducive environment for exhibitors and avoid problems,Uutoni said preparations for the OATF always commence the day after the end of the trade fair.
Egumbo, who also chairs the OATF Preparatory Committee said demand to exhibit at the trade fair is always high and this year 450 exhibitors, the same number of exhibitors in 2012, will be accommodated at the trade fair.
Despite the shortfall, exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the volumes of business conducted during OATF 2012.
To promote the exhibition industry in Namibia, Egumbo says the OATF is now part of the Namibia Exhibition and Trade Fair Association.
The Official Opening Ceremony of the OATF will take place on Sunday, August 25, 2013 and will be officiated by Hon.
I would like to congratulate the OATF
for what we know will yet be another successful Trade Fair.
