Systems are available today that monitor a light-duty vehicle's OBD-II ('On-Board Diagnostic') system, or, equivalently, a heavy-duty vehicle's J1708 system. Networkfleet was the first to develop a wireless diagnostic monitoring system that connects directly to a vehicle's on-board diagnostic OBD-II port. The OBD-II port is standard in vehicles built for North America since 1996. |
