According to data by OICA, the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, Turkey climbed one place up in world ranking for auto production in 2008.
83 million automotive vehicles in 1999 (see Table 1), which placed China in the top ten automotive vehicle producers in the world according to the OICA (3) (China Automotive Industry Yearbook 2000).
In just three years, the Tosepan cooperative has turned their production chain around to certified organic and a string of other diversification projects, with about 600 of the 3,000 coffee producer members to date certified by OICA, the Nebraska-based Organic Crop Improvement Association.
