The Outboard Marine Corporation, OMC, went bankrupt in 2000 and its Johnson and Evinrude engine operations were sold to Bombardier Corp. His background includes more than 25 years experience in the consumer products industry, having served as President and CEO of EAS, President of Brunswick Bicycles, SVP Sales and Marketing at Outboard Marine Corporation, and in a variety of leadership positions with Wilson Sporting Goods and other companies. After declaring bankruptcy in late 1988, the company was sold to Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC), which in the ensuing years, underwent two major changes in management and eventual bankruptcy itself. |
