Another 50,000-ton Panamax vessel was delayed for two months in southern China, running up an estimated demurrage charge of close to $2 million before it finally cleared grain inspectors. In 2004, two Panamax tankers of about 75,000 dwt, in which the company has a 50 per cent share, were ordered. The remaining six of the Company's combination carriers and two Panamax product tankers were employed on long-term time charters. |
