Professor of palliative care at Edith Cowan University, linda Kristjanson, said the PCNA would provide members with an opportunity to promote palliative care as their clinical specialty, and make links with other nurses similarly interested. Moreover, the pace of neurogenesis seemed to correlate with the severity of a person's disease at death: The brains of people worst afflicted with Huntington's showed the most PCNA. This may explain why the authors found no significant difference in the expression of PCNA in the luminal epithelium between treatment groups (control, estradiol, and bisphenol A), although other studies have shown increases in PCNA expression following treatment with these same compounds (3). |
