A previous responsiveness study with the gross motor (GM) composite of the PDMS (PDMS-GM) for infants with CP showed that the PDMS-GM had limitations when used as an evaluative measure for infants with CP. The PDMS-GM is standardized and normed for children aged from birth through 83 months, and it has been validated for use as a discriminative measure. Three potential subjects, although scoring low enough on their prior PAR or PDMS-GM assessment (done up to 3 years earlier), scored too high on one of those assessments tar study inclusion when retested at the start of the study. |
