Fires Battle Lab and Fires CoE are following their NTC success by working with modeling and simulation developers at PEO-STRI to implement the RoF methodologies in the modeling and simulation tools/technologies involved in future Fires assessments for all CTCs and home station training. Dave Thompson, assistant product manager for the medical simulation training center program at PEO-STRI said the virtual patient is tethered to a power and fluid supply, which is what allows it to breathe, bleed, and to react to the medical assistance being rendered. Last month PEO-STRI completed deliveries of 14 simulators called the common driver trainer. |
