The investor service believes the acquisition of a 20 percent stake "raises concerns as it represents a move by shareholders and senior management into a non-core business," PLDT said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange. The loan is in the form of a seven-year fixed-rate peso bilateral loan, which was taken on 28 September 2009, a spokesman for PLDT said. |
