PWD is a worldwide program designed to help software developers reach broader markets, lower their costs of doing business, and take their products to market faster. First, unlike some European countries (Evers, 1995), disability and retirement benefits are not available in the United States on the basis of providing family care to a PWD. Serving the needs of PWD and those at risk will not only result in the societal good of increased quality and longevity of life for millions, but should also prove profitable for the companies doing so successfully. |
