Previously cleared in April 2008 as a partial vertebral body replacement, the ROI-A[TM] system incorporates the innovative VerteBRIDGE[TM] screwless plating technology.
The new spinal device is designed to be used in most cases as a stand-alone implant between the spinal vertebrae or as a partial vertebral body replacement, without the need for supplemental internal fixation, during lumbar spinal fusion procedures.
The technology will be incorporated into LDR's new stand-alone partial vertebral body replacement devices.
