Pasteurella multocida isolates were identified by biochemical tests, capsular type, somatic serotype, and susceptibility to 9 antibiotics.
Abstract: Most Pasteurella multocida human infections involve skin and soft tissues and invariably develop after a bite or a scratch from a dog or a cat.
Generally these are bacterial forms of the disease and the three main ones are Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus somnus and Mycoplasma bovis.
